We are excited to host you at at the Future Ready Learning event next Wednesday, June 13 at the FFA Building at the DMACC Ankeny Campus starting at 9:00 and adjourning at 3:30. The goal of this day is to learn about connections between careers and civic life to the required content of the Iowa Academic Standards.
A few logistics may help you prepare for the day. Parking is free just in front of the building. Lunch will be provided, an array of sandwich options from In the Bag. For power, there will be charging stations in the main room, but not cord reels on each table or the break-out rooms.

All participants have been loaded into the program. Just search for "Future Ready Learning." If you are a presenter, you may upload slides, documents, etc. in sched.com. Go to your session, then "Speaker Tools" and "Add Presentation."
The day is packed with exciting keynote speakers, break-out sessions, and the Iowa Business Council Career Fair. There will be a 30 minute session built in the schedule to attend the career fair, but if you would like to learn longer, it will be open from 8:30-4:00.
We will use the hashtag #FutureReadyIA. Please help spread the word by using it and sharing it with those Tweeters you know that will want to follow the conversation but cannot attend. Feel free to Tweet before about what you are hoping to learn.
